Martin Burke was born in Ireland and published his first poems
in journals and magazines during the early 70's. Then he
moved to Belgium twenty years ago and poetry all but ceased,
and it is only in the past year or so that it has once again
returned, this time in a form and manner more pleasing to him than
his original efforts. Recent work has been or is forthcoming in Poetry Magazine; Drunken Boat; Apples and
Oranges; M.A.G.; The Richmond Review; Scriberazone;
Poetry Salzburg Review.
