A Moment

Oranges rolled from their pyramid perches
on the grocer’s table as the boy on the skateboard
swung his arm and jumped the curb like it was just
a memory. When the grocer yelled the boy’s hair whirled
and that was when he didn’t see the taxi bright like
oranges small globes of sunshine rolling down the sidewalk
on a summer’s day.
