PEDRO TREVINO-RAMIREZ

Sijo #1

Black sea reflects the stars,
mirrors god, befriends the drowning man.

His skin is smooth, shines;
Aurora casts him light to find his way.

I see the waters split in two,
his soul consumed, becomes the moon.
